Montevalle Recreation Center
Montevalle Recreation Center is located in Chula Vista, California just north of San Diego. It’s a great place to get out and get active with your family or friends. They have several swimming pools, basketball courts, handball courts, many different picnic spots, hiking trails and of course a gymnasium. There are also special programming activities throughout the year such as basketball clinics and lap swim lessons. If you’re anything like me then you probably haven’t had the chance to visit this awesome recreation center yet! So follow along with me as I show you around Montevalle Rec Center! It is located at 840 Duncan Ranch Rd, Chula Vista, CA 91914.
Once you’ve made it upstairs to the first floor, you’ll find yourself in the lobby of Montevalle Rec Center. This is where all the indoor sporting events take place. In the lobby, you’ll find a TV that always shows all the latest sporting events. You can also enjoy a snack while watching your favorite team play! The lobby is also where the front desk is located. Here, you can check in for your fitness classes, check out their fitness equipment or just ask any general questions about Montevalle Rec Center.
Now let’s head out to the pool area! On the first floor of Montevalle Rec Center, you’ll find a large swimming pool. The pool is used for lap swimming and recreational swimming. There are also several areas to relax and watch the TV in the pool area. There is also an area where you can rent their paddle boards and kayaks.
Continuing on to the second floor of Montevalle Rec Center, you’ll find the fitness center. The fitness center has a variety of cardio and weight training machines. There are also several group fitness classes that take place in the fitness center. There is also a yoga studio on the second floor. The yoga studio is used for both group and private classes.
On the third floor of Montevalle Rec Center, you’ll find a beautiful outdoor courtyard. There are several tables and chairs here where you can enjoy your lunch or relax. There is also a basketball court located in the courtyard. This courtyard is great if you love the outdoors. If you’re staying at a hotel that doesn’t offer enough outdoor space, this is a great place to just sit and recharge.
One of the best things about Montevalle Rec Center is that it also has an outside basketball court! Located in the courtyard, this court is perfect for outdoor sports such as basketball and volleyball. There is plenty of room to play and there is usually someone nearby to help you out if you need it. You can also bring your own ball if you prefer or use one of the balls provided. The court is also lit, so it’s great if it’s dark outside.
As you can see, Montevalle Rec Center has plenty of activities for all ages. They have a huge indoor pool, a fitness center, paddle boards, kayaks, a basketball court and outdoor courtyard. They even have a yoga studio on the second floor for those who want to practice yoga outside! If you’re visiting San Diego, you should definitely visit Montevalle Rec Center. It’s a great place to relax, exercise and get your friends and family together.
